General Motors

In 1908, General Motors was born. It now leads a 100 year legacy, and now one of the world’s largest car producers. The early history of General Motors show that it started off as a holding company for Buick. Throughout the years, GM spent time purchasing car companies, making them even greater than before. General Motors wanted to create car that not only took you from point “A” to “B”, they wanted their customers to enjoy the ride in their new stylish and well-known car. Although most people don’t know, General Motors not only made cars; during World War II they made armaments and aircrafts. Through GM ups and downs with managerial controllers, they still maintained their title as #1.
